There are many possible causes of infertility, and infertility issues can affect both partners. However, in a quarter of cases, the cause cannot be identified.

The most common causes of infertility are:

• Lack of regular ovulation (monthly release of eggs)
• Poor semen quality
• Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes
• Endometriosis – a condition in which tissue similar to the endometrium (endometrium) grows outside the uterus

• Spearmint leaf: helps to regulate hormones to create balance and aid fertility. Studies have shown that it can decrease testosterone while increasing luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and estradiol It has a soft mint flavour that is agreeable and pleasant to drink
• Agnus Castus Berry: Chaste berry, also known as Monk’s pepper, increases progesterone production via increasing luteinizing hormone and prolactin. It reduces follicle stimulating hormone. This balances hormones that regulate menstruation and fertility, thus increasing fertility. 
• Shatavari Root: is a nourishing and rejuvenating female tonic. It helps to regulate hormonal imbalances and enhances fertility. It increases luteinizing hormones, improves ovulation, rejuvenates fertility, and enhances libido.
• Nettle Leaf: is a remineraliser, rich in iron, calcium, and silica. It enhances ovum production by supporting FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), regulates hormones and helps to rid the body of toxic oestrogens. 
• Lady’s Mantle herb: is a uterine tonic and stimulates ovulation. It helps to regulate hormones and is traditionally used to promote fertility. It helps to tone the pelvic floor muscles and has a cooling and astringent effect. 
• Raspberry Leaf: is a uterine tonic and astringent and used as a prenatal aid to enhance fertility. The leaves are rich in manganese, calcium, potassium, and trace elements.
• Dandelion Root: regulates the reproductive system by clearing out old hormones from the liver. As bitter herb it supports the liver as a major organ of detoxification.
