About this product
Why you'll love it: Snacks that work as hard as you do. The Milk it Lactation Support Cookie Box (classic selection) contains eight soft-baked cookies made with galactagogue ingredients traditionally used to support milk supply.
- Eight soft-baked cookies in a carefully selected assortment
- Made with traditional lactation-supporting ingredients such as oats, flaxseed and brewer's yeast
- Classic soft-baked selection
- One-handed snacking — designed for eating while feeding
- Beautifully boxed, so they make a lovely gift
Breastfeeding burns a significant number of extra calories a day, and most new mums are chronically under-fed simply because there's no spare hand. A snack you can eat while pinned to the sofa is genuinely useful — whatever you think about galactagogues.
Evidence for lactation cookies increasing supply is limited; the biggest drivers of milk supply are frequent effective feeding, hydration and rest. Treat these as a nourishing, well-timed snack rather than a medical intervention.
Speak to your midwife, health visitor or an infant feeding specialist if you have supply concerns. Contains allergens — check the pack before eating.
