What's inside

2 x Wristbands included (One for each wrist)

1 x Travel tin to carry on the go

How to use

The bands must be worn on both wrists with the chrome stud facing downwards onto the Nei-Kuan point. You may also gently press down on the stud for 30 seconds at a time to increase the pressure; this can further aid relief. Please note: Pressing downward on the Nei-Kuan point should never feel painful

1. Place your index, middle & ring finger on the inside of your wrist crease nearest the palm of the hand

2. The Nei-Kuan point is located at the outer edge of the index finger between the two tendons

3. Place the wristband stud on this point

4. Repeat above steps for the other wrist

If suffering from morning sickness we recommend you put them on when you first wake-up and wear all day. If wearing for travel sickness we recommend that you put the bands on 10 minutes before starting your journey.

FAQ's

What Does The NHS Say About Acupressure?

The NHS suggests that acupressure may help reduce nausea and vomiting and can play a useful role in treating Morning Sickness and various other nausea related issues.

Acupressure shares the same principles of acupuncture; acupuncture is a treatment derived from ancient Chinese medicine. Fine needles are inserted at certain sites in the body for therapeutic or preventative purposes. This results in the body producing natural substances, such as pain-relieving endorphins. It's likely these naturally released substances are responsible for the beneficial effects experienced with acupuncture. Acupuncture is often seen as a form of complimentary or alternative medicine (CAM).

Similar to acupuncture, our acupressure wristbands involve wearing bands on the wrist which apply pressure to the Nei-Kuan point which is believed to be effective in reducing symptoms of nausea in pregnancy and other nausea related issues.
